Come and join our resident prenatal yoga teacher, Emma Lewis, for an extended session to explore breath, sound, and movement at different stages of birth.
Emma will hold a virtual space for practice, reflection, and discussion to support your transition in to parenthood. The session will encourage questions and will be a lovely opportunity to meet other mums-to-be and connect in a supportive community.
- 10.00-10.45 - welcoming circle and gentle yoga practice for ladies.
- 10.45-11.45 - movement, breath, and sound for different stages of labour. Birthing partners welcome.
- 11.45-12.00 - questions and closing circle for all.
Emma's classes invite you to play, explore, and just be. She combines her knowledge of the human body from her background in physiotherapy with yoga principles to provide a truly accessible practice. A creation of an individual yet mutual experience with no expectations, boundaries or judgments and rooted by the mantra ‘nothing is forever’.
Emma’s intrigue in Yoga was deepened by her experience as a specialised neurological physiotherapist, passionate about understanding the brain and human movement. With this curiosity she embarked on a 200-hour, vinyasa flow-based teacher training with Yoga London and further pregnancy yoga training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli. Studying with Uma inspired her to open up to and explore the importance, beauty and power of our feminine energy in our daily practice both on and off the mat.
