Darren's classes are fun, challenging and focus on learning proper technique. Darren has always been passionate about health and fitness and started practicing Pilates in 2004 been doing a mixture of Mat & Reformer Pilates, ranging from traditional, dynamic and boot camp styles. Over the years Darren has explored what you can achieve from doing Pilates and has incorporated this with Yoga, Kettlebell’s, and Active Isolated Stretching, to achieve a more balanced and functional body.

After having practiced Pilates for several years and having a real passion to teach it seemed the right time to pursue a career in teaching Pilates. Darren decided to study with Balanced Body the largest Pilates Company in the world, and completed his Balanced Body Level 3 CYQ Certification in Mat Pilates in 2011. Darren decided to further his training and completed his Balanced Body Reformer Pilates Teacher Training, and has now started looking into performance based Pilates studying with APPI

Darren is always looking to learning new techniques and love’s to keep his knowledge up to speed, along with learning the Reformer, the Orbit and Kettlebells. Darren is now currently studying to become a FMS certified exercise professional and strength and conditioning coach.
